Step into the Secretariat where classic Southern architecture blends with a fresh transitional edge. Creating a cohesive rhythm underfoot, Silvian Kivi-Stone anchors the welcoming residence. Featured in the 2025 Vesta Home Show, this Germantown home was built by Eller Construction and designed by Conway Design Group along with Sensational Sofas and Interiors.

A Warm, Classic Welcome Home

Upon entering the home, you’re greeted by a striking entryway featuring a black-and-white diamond inlay framed by floral golden and emerald wallpaper. The elegant design sets the tone for the rest of the home’s polished yet approachable aesthetic.

Moving into the living room, the layered textures and patterns invite you in. Underfoot, Kivi adds an earthy flow, with its soft gray veining and taupe tones. Complementing the flooring are a red brick fireplace, exposed beams and matching built-in shelving. The flooring bridges the grand entrance with the lived-in, yet refined gathering space.

Going upstairs, the handcrafted Floormade staircase leads the way. Created by our team, Floormade uses our flooring to create perfect match treads, vents, patterns, and nosings. Paired with the gold details and paneled walls, this custom staircase continues the transitional, Southern style in an unexpected way.

The second floor gives a fresh look from the classic style with a playful bunk room. Kivi continues to shine, complemented by the deep green custom bunks, a nod to the entryway’s color palette. With an emphasis on retreat, the space is inviting for both rest and play.

Contemporary Southern Kitchen with Layered Tones

Back downstairs, the kitchen and adjoining scullery capture the essence of modern Southern design. Cream and gold countertops pair with the copper tone cabinets. The custom island opens the kitchen to the other spaces, creating an inviting place for everyday living and entertaining. Accentuating the palette are warm brass hardware and lighting. Right off the kitchen, the scullery provides light-filled function with a soft palette, anchored by Kivi underfoot.

Altogether, the Secretariat harmonizes transitional architecture and modern Southern design with layered textures, united by Kivi throughout.
