The Vintage Loft Story
There’s honesty in an old wood floor. The scratches, dents and scuffs all tell their stories. If you sit in an old mill house or any building where the floors under your feet are a hundred years old, you can see the stories. The softly chipped edges, the worn patina and mellowed color of the wood have a charm all their own. In that history there’s a beauty as well.

Industrial Space Made Into Living Space
If I've ever seen great inspiration for our Vintage Loft Collection, this is it. A New York state couple, Amy and Brandon Phillips, purchased this 19th century factory building and have built out a beautiful living space including 1,700-square-foot of apartment, a 6,000-square-foot event space, and a 4,000-square-foot letterpress studio.

Dang, That Floor Looks Old
Several months ago I took my wife out to dinner at a nearby restaurant called Dawt Mill. The main room of the restaurant, built from what remained of the 1800’s mill, still has the original floors. At nearly 120 years old, they’re worn and weathered with age, and absolutely gorgeous.
