GreenGuard Gold Certified

All of RealWoodFloors’ flooring is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which ensures they meet stringent standards for low chemical emissions, making them suitable for use in sensitive environments. They have been tested and verified to have minimal or zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other harmful pollutants.

FloorScore® Certified

FloorScore® is the most recognized indoor air quality (IAQ) certification standard for hard surface flooring materials, adhesives, and underlayments. It was developed by SCS with the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI), and SCS is the exclusive certification body.

Blue Angel

Blue Angel guarantees that a product places less burden on the environment and the climate and fulfils high standards with respect to the protection of human health – while also having the same fitness for use and quality as other products.

Title VI Compliant

RealWoodFloors’ flooring is TSCA Title VI compliant. They meet the formaldehyde emission standards for composite wood products established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). These standards aim to reduce formaldehyde emissions from products like hardwood plywood, medium-density fiberboard, and particleboard, thus minimizing public health risks.

CARB 2 Compliant

RealWoodFloors’ flooring is CARB Phase 2 compliant meaning they meet stringent standards for formaldehyde emissions, set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). These standards, stricter than Phase 1, ensure the flooring releases only a low level of formaldehyde, a known human carcinogen.
