While the early 2000s were marked by bright neon and exuberant excess, 2010 kicked off a decade that embraced a more mature but funky palette. Millennial pink made its grand debut and ushered in the start of color minimalism. For this next decade, designers are leaning toward a less-is-more approach and changing the interpretation of what a themed room can be.
