    5 Facts About The Dubai Tower

    Although we are a flooring company, this building was so impressive, as recently seen in the newest Mission Impossible film, that we thought we would share some facts about this monument to human achievement.  (Plus, it’s so large there has to be an engineered wood floor somewhere in it.)

    The Burj Khalifa (a.k.a. the Dubai Tower) is tallest building in the world. It was a joint effort between Belgian company Besix, Korean conglomerate Samsung, and Arab construction firm Arabtec.
    The Dubai tower 
    1.  The Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest man made structure in history.
    2.  It is located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) city/ state of Dubai, considered to be the mightiest of the Emirates.
    3.  The building is one of many jewels of the city, transforming Dubai into a global hub for future trade and commerce
    4.  Originally called the Burj Dubai, the tower was renamed in 2009 to the Burj Khalifa after the UAE President or Shiekh, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his crucial support
    5.  The building consists of over 164 floors with designed plan and use. The floors contain a six star hotel, business offices, residential apartments, shopping, entertainment, maintenance, communication, world class medical facilities, observation decks, and one busy barber.
